Anders and Esme

Stephanie dropped Anders off for a couple of hours, and he and Esme had a great time! They were both so good and enjoyed each other's company.

Hiking

So we decided to have an adventure with the Cahoon Family Unit. James wanted to go for a hike up to Rattlesnake Lake, and he tried out the Baby Bjorn, which we didn't end up taking, and he pushed Esme up the trail in the Bob, while everyone looked at him like we were crazy...

Raspberries

This little feeding bag is kinda funny for babies. Esme totally loves it. I have put in apricots banana's and raspberries. The raspberries were the messiest by far!

Polka dot swim suits

We finally got some nice sunny days, so we visited a few outside pools! Kay invited us to theirs, Aunt Deborah invited us to theirs, and we also went to the Kirkland public pool. Esme really enjoyed the water, and it was fun to sit in the shallow end with her.

Ouch!

This is Esme's first boo boo on her nose. I felt TERRIBLE. Esme was sitting between my legs at the pool, she reached forward and before I could catch her, her nose scraped the cement. She was very upset, and so was I.

4th of July

We wore our red white and blue to church on Sunday. Esme conked out for all the fireworks, and slept through all the loud pops and bangs.

Shots!

Last Tuesday was Esme's 6 month check up. As always she did great, and everything looks fine and dandy. She weighed in at 18 lbs and 12.5 oz. She is 25 inches tall, over 2 feet:) She got a shot in each leg and an oral vaccine too. I hate having her legs get poked, she screamed a bit, and then I picked her up and held her tight and she calmed down pretty quickly. She is such a brave girl. So I thought I would post the picture of her heart bandaids and how tricky she is at holding on to her feet.
