Tulip Town

So the Tulips are amazing. And they make for some great photo ops! Saturday was crazy busy and really muddy, but at least you can see the fields.

Tulip Festival Parade

We got to walk in the Tulip Festival Parade in La Connor. It was a little brisk, but during the Parade Route the wind died down, and it was nice. We got these awesome T-Shirts:) Olive has her first experience of needing a blanket when she is outside.

Healthy Figure

Esme has the most delicious chubby legs.

Brooklyn Again

A sunny day in Brooklyn. We went down to this ice cream place by the water after lunch. It was yummy ice cream!

Top of the Rock

This is a self Portrait at the top of the Rockefeller Building Observation Deck. We are 70 floors up.This is me and Esme with our matching striped shirts:) Central Park is over my shoulder in the left hand side of the picture. Daddy and Daughter at the "Top of the Rock"
Empire State Building
Rockefeller Plaza

We took Esme to the top of the Rockefeller Building and got a great birds eye view of NYC.

New York City!

We stayed with our dear friends Blake and Stephanie who have 3 kids. Their youngest, Grant is just 6 weeks older than Esme. So it was nice that they could get acquainted:) They live in a cute little apartment in Brooklyn so we crossed the Brooklyn Bridge with 4 kids in tow. We went down to get a ticket to see the Statue of Liberty and we saw this gi-normous line, which ended up being over 2 hours long...and they weren't letting people up the Statue of Liberty once you got there, so we just took a picture from Battery Park, and let the kids run around there.

Esme's first trip on a Plane

Esme rode on a Boeing 737-900 from the East Coast to the West Coast at 100 days old! She was fabulous. We rode Alaska Airlines, and they accommodated by blocking out the middle seat. She was pleasant and in a good mood most of the way. She slept for about 2 hours total of the 5.5 hour trip. She was an awesome traveler. She fussed a bit before she fell asleep, but not for too long, so it was an adventure from the start.
